1.Stanford University

Stanford GSB need-based fellowships

Stanford GSB fellowships are granted solely based on your demonstrated financial need. On average, the Stanford GSB fellowship amounts to approximately $42,000 per year or a total of $84,000 in awards.

Stanford GSB BOLD Fellows Fund 

The Building Opportunities for Leadership Diversity Fellows Fund aims to advance Stanford University’s dedication to diversity and inclusion. BOLD Fellows Fund awards can reach up to approximately $15,000 per fellow per year or approximately $30,000 over a fellow’s two-year MBA program.

Eligibility: 

Being a member of a low-income household or facing socioeconomic disadvantage due to intergenerational wealth disparities

Providing financial support to parents, parental figures, or other family members during and post-MBA Program.

Demonstrating a commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion

The Knight Hennessy Scholarship for International Students in the USA is a fully funded program. All expenses are covered in this scholarship, such as

Covers Full Tuition and associated fees.

Stipend for living and educational expenses.

A Travel Stipend intended to cover an Economy-Class Ticket.

In their second and third years, scholars have the opportunity to apply for additional funds to support academic enrichment activities.

Each year, Knight-Hennessy Scholars selects up to 100 students who are newly enrolling in a graduate degree program across any of Stanford’s seven schools.

Career Support

Stanford GSB offers financial support to qualifying MBAs who pursue careers in the nonprofit and public service sectors or high-impact businesses.

External Scholarships

They recommend exploring sources beyond Stanford GSB to alleviate your debt burden. If you secure an external scholarship below $40,000, your Stanford GSB fellowship remains unaffected. However, if you obtain an external scholarship exceeding $40,000, your Stanford GSB fellowship will be adjusted accordingly.

2. UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA–LOS ANGELES

The UCLA Anderson FEMBA Dean’s Fellowship

This is awarded to new admits based on the strength of their admission applications and financial need. The total fellowship award amount is $30,000, distributed in quarterly installments.

UCLA Financial Aid

UCLA provides need-based financial aid to students who submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. These grants represent essentially free money that does not require repayment.

Donor Fellowships

This scholarship is provided by various alumni, corporations, foundations, and individual donors based on selection criteria, including professional development, intended career, community involvement, or financial need.

Merit Fellowships

This scholarship is determined by the strength of the admit’s admission application at the time of admission and is considered final. Awards span two years and are granted by the UCLA Anderson Fellowship Committee.

3. UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY

Need-Based Scholarships 

Berkeley MBA Grant

Berkeley MBA grants are granted based on demonstrated financial need. Applicants will be required to self-report income and asset information to assess funding eligibility. No specific income cut-off point is published. As a result, students interested in need-based funding must submit an application.

Jimenez Family Fellowship

Those students who are US citizens and have scored high in their graduation, then this need-based scholarship “Jimenez Family fellowship is for those applicants. 

Merit-Based Scholarships and Fellowships

Brian Maxwell Fellowship

Applicants who believe they possess and can demonstrate entrepreneurial skills, along with the ability to create and implement innovative projects, products, and ideas, can showcase their abilities to the admission committee. Berkeley offers an outstanding merit scholarship known as the Brian Maxwell Fellowship.

Berkeley Haas Scholarships

If you believe you can demonstrate excellence, advocacy, and commitment to academics, racial and gender equity, industry, leadership, and LGBTQ within an organization and community, then the Berkeley Haas scholarship has much to offer you.

Torres Family Fellowship

This fellowship is awarded to MBA students who prefer California-born students who demonstrate excellence in leadership skills.

USC MARSHALL 

Schoen Family Scholarship Program for Veterans

Candidates who have received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces and have a minimum of three years of continuous, full-time active duty in the last ten years are eligible for scholarships through the Schoen Family Scholarship Program.
